I hired Lou Topia Hardwood Flooring in August 2026 for a much needed Hardwood Floors refinishing project of our entire main floor in Shirley, Mass. The floors were initially installed 17 years prior and had heavy wear due to foot traffic, children, and animals. Lou returned my initial call same day and was able to come out to provide a free estimate same week. He walked me through the entire process. Let me know what to expect and was able to give me a quote right off the bat. It was a big project and he kept me informed throughout on progress staying 100% within estimated timeframe and budget without cutting any corners. I was able to come back and see the floors after his work was completed and it was like walking into a new house. Even with the heavy wear on the wood, it looks brand new and he stayed true to color with quality oil based polyurethane. He was respectful to the property and did a thorough cleanup before leaving.
