Loyd's Home Improvement is a home remodeling business, and a 2024 HomeAdvisor customer said Harold fixed foundation issues the customer had been trying to get addressed for four years. In a 2013 HomeAdvisor review, a customer said Harold came in at least three times to measure, brought in the tile person, an electrician and a plasterer for a bathroom, and built the custom cabinets for it; that 2013 customer called the price very fair. A 2017 customer wrote that Harold's team altered the framing for new windows on the front of the house and that his quote was thorough, though that 2017 customer also mentioned delays in responsiveness. A 2016 customer said Harold directed water away from a window well, sealed the walls and modified the gutters. A 2015 Houzz reviewer said Harold and his crew had handled cedar shingles, a new roof, skylights and new windows on a summer home on Cape Cod over six years. A 2025 Google reviewer said Harold will not finish a job unless it is done correctly. A 2019 HomeAdvisor customer said Harold's men made a mess of the casing on three new sliders, that the customer paid $1042.00 for a kitchen window Harold never came back to install, and that he left the shingling open around that window through a cold winter; that 2019 customer said they fired him. A 2018 Houzz reviewer said Harold wanted a large amount up front, was slow to start, and finished a shower installation himself without a trap after his licensed plumber got ill, which cost that 2018 customer about $3k to fix; Harold agreed to repay $100 a month and stopped after two months, the reviewer said. In 2016, a HomeAdvisor customer wrote that the builder did not finish the home after 20 months, left debris in the home and yard, mismanaged funds, was disrespectful, and did very poor work, so that 2016 customer hired another builder at their own expense. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 156230, held by Harold Loyd, is active on the state registry. Houzz lists CSL 101750.
Harold is incredibly knowledgeable, fair, and will not finish a job unless it is done 100% correct. Great craftsman, better person.
Harold & his crew, Charlie & Mike were awesome. Came to work on time. They listened to my wants & needs and came up with a plan that worked. Communicated with us through out the process. Their attention to detail was incredible. They went above & beyond their job description. I would highly recommend them on any renovations, they are very talented skilled laborers. It was a pleasure doing business with this company.

Harold and crew performed exceptionally. Harold and crew willing to work with us as larger projects were "tweaked' as they progressed. Clearly "pros". Wonderful workmanship.
