We had our Central air conditioner serviced yesterday We called on Wednesday afternoon and Jim came about 12.30 noon on Thursday. He was great very knowledgeable. He was very polite and installed a new thermostat. It’s working great now. I highly recommend Ludlow Heating and Cooling. Great service. Eileen and Gary McCarthy July 9,2026 was the service. An absolutely wonderful company. Fair, honest, punctual, informative. I can’t recommend them enough! They have quickly solved two issues I had and had my unit running quickly! I now hire them to service for annual maintenance for my central air and furnace.

I had a floor AC unit installed in my bedroom. It was used as needed at night for 2 seasons. I used it for about a month during this past summer and noticed a water stain on the ceiling beneath. Water had been dripping from the gravity drain head located on the bottom of the unit and onto the floorboards since the install. The drain was pitched towards the unit rather than away from the unit. The back of the AC unit is mounted to a storage space. The water which was dripping out of the drain head was not noticeable. This was an improper installation. The workmanship of the install is also terrible. I called Ludlow Heating to diagnose and correct the problem. The lady that received my call immediately was defensive and stated it shouldn’t have taken me 3 years to notice a problem. She took my information and had Bill return my call. Bill stated he would waive the “service” fee but that’s all he could do because it took me 3 years to notice a problem and because I also had a 3rd party look at the install to diagnose the issue. He would not stand behind his work. I invited him to look at the installation before jumping to conclusions and to educate himself on the units they’re installing and to pass that education to the installers. He stated he doesn’t need to look at it. Horrible customer service.

Bill and his company are wonderful to work with, knowledgable, honest, efficient and trustworthy. Ludlow Heating and Cooling installed my air conditioner in one day and deliveries my heating oil. It is wonder to have a local company that I trust to provide HVAC services.

The team here is responsive, polite and always helpful. We just moved to Ludlow and I'm not super familiar with the type of heating that we have. There were some issues with our filter when we got our first fill and they were quick to fix it and have been a wonderful team to make sure our house is staying warm! They're always prompt, on time, and the prices are fair! (And t's always nice to get the 5-day discount.) Highly recommend!
