Mickie Lemay is a one-person lead paint inspection business out of Lunenburg, MA, and her customers mostly remember how quickly she showed up. Her site describes initial inspections, reinspections and Section 8 inspections across roughly a 40-mile radius, taking in towns such as Leominster, Lowell, Worcester, Framingham and Concord; the company says she founded it in 2006. BBB lists a Massachusetts Department of Public Health license #3764 for the business and gives it an A+ grade. Her written reviews run from 2016 to 2025. An August 2025 Angi customer called the work fast and very detailed. In a June 2024 Google review, a customer said she explained how lead problems need to be handled in different situations and that her knowledge made the process painless; a May 2024 reviewer said they had used her several times. Earlier accounts describe the same speed: a 2020 customer said she showed up the next day, and a 2021 customer said she could get the inspection done within a day. A 2020 reviewer said she explained how to read her report and that deleaders would have to meet her standard or pay for her to come back and reinspect. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.9 stars from 11 ratings, and Google shows 5 stars from 7. The one mixed review, from 2017, gave 4 stars and said the customer was told she charged more than she should have; a 2024 customer, by contrast, called her the least expensive.
