Renato has run Majestic Tile out of Everett, Massachusetts for 27 years, doing tile, carpet, and wood-flooring work for homeowners in the area — repair and refasten calls sit alongside full tile and hardwood installs. What keeps showing up across its 29 ratings on HomeAdvisor and Angi (4.9 stars, 97% five-star) is how fast Renato responds. In a review posted in May 2026, one homeowner said he "went above and beyond" stretching her carpet and explained everything as he worked. A review from December 2025 described a full flood-damage floor rebuild — "the most perfect herringbone floor" — with a promise to call him again for future work. A July 2024 review specifically praised how quickly Renato answered the initial request and the reasonable quote that followed. The one exception in the visible record is a 2021 review describing a tile job that dragged out: the crew, according to that reviewer, took on more work than they could handle at once, and a subway-tile shower installation came out uneven — the homeowner suspected the tile was buttered onto the wall rather than spread with thin-set, though the crew maintained the tile itself had a bow in it. It's worth asking about directly if your job goes beyond a straightforward repair. It's also worth knowing upfront that Majestic Tile doesn't offer free estimates, though it does offer emergency service and warranties on its work. For carpet stretching, tile repair, or a flooring redo after water damage, the record here is deep and mostly consistent — worth a call, with a clear scope agreed on paper before anything beyond a simple repair begins.

Renato did a wonderful job stretching the carpet. He went above and beyond the work that had to be done, and he was so pleasant and explained everything to me. I will definitely keep his phone number for further projects.
This was a redo project due to a flood. Renato and team were fantastic. I have the most perfect herringbone floor that I love so much!!! They're professional, meticulous and cared so much about my property. I will be hiring Renato and team for all my future projects. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to have hardwood or tile floors installed. It's very difficult to find a good contractor who is honest and trustworthy. I've received so many compliments on my floors from my neighbors and fridnds. Forever indebted to Renato and team!!!👏 My Reno is not yet complete, I'll upload better photos once the job is done.
Renato was very communicative, quick and the project was well-executed! We think he and his team did a wonderful job.
Renato, the business owner, was very quick to respond to my original request. He and his assistant were always prompt, professional, and very courteous. After looking over the job description and site, Renato gave us a quote that seemed reasonable. A few days later, Renato and his assistant arrived promptly and completed the job in one day. My wife and I consider their work to be excellent! We would recommend Renato without reservation.
Very mixed feelings about this contractor. Both guys were personable and very pleasant. They struggled with their schedule. They took on more work than they could adequately handle and consequently my project suffered. They were very anxious to start the project but they worked half days and skipped other days and the project dragged on longer than expected. They did work one Saturday in an effort to catch up. They installed 12 x 24 ceramic tile on the floor and they did a good job with that. However, in the shower, we used 2x 6 subway tile and that seemed to be a problem. They claimed the tile was defective but I believe it was the way it was installed that kept the tile from laying completely flat against the wall. Instead of spreading the thin-set on the wall, they buttered the back of each tile and then stuck it on the wall so it was difficult to get them all flat. They acknowledged that the tile does not look right but they felt the tile had a bow in it and was defective. I believe the owners primary focus is carpet so that may be a better fit.
