The house was ready in 12 months, at the early end of the 12 to 15 month range that was negotiated. Another 2026 review describes a home renovation that came in on budget and on the projected timeline, with the building crew on site six days a week and the job site cleaned up at the end of every day. In a 2025 review, the business repaired structural issues in a home per an engineer's recommendation, on a fast timeline. Marco's team was prompt, efficient and easy to communicate with when we reached out for a quote for repairing our roof and deck for a multifamily in Worcester MA. They are professional and effective. They are transparent in pricing and was accommodating in offering us a payment plan. We enjoyed working with them and would definitely reach out for future projects.
They are diligent, responsive, organized, and skilled. We used Marco Polo Home Builder for a 12-month project to tear-down and build our home. Overall they exceeded our expectations, and together we avoided a lot of the complications and challenges that such a project can bring. They had completed prior projects with our architect, and, from initial offer through to the final bids, Marco provided transparent project quotes and was clearly intent on winning the business. We found him to listen to our goals and desires, while also offering his advice and bringing his expertise. After the project started, Marco's crews worked literally everyday (Monday - Saturday). We didn't experience any delays from equipment not being in the right place or people on other projects, illustrating their organization and planning. As we interacted with the various crews, it was clear that they were happy and enjoyed their work, which resulted in a good work product. In any project, there are going to be mis-steps or challenges taking what is on the paper plans to reality. In the couple of occasions where it was out of sync, Marco undid the work and did it again to our desire or the specifications. The other thing that we observed is that Marco leveraged his contacts and subcontractors, but didn't add margin to his costs. We ended up with the dream house that we had designed, and it was ready in 12 months (at the early end of the12 to 15 month range that we negotiated). In the months since we've been back in the house and encountered some minor challenges, he continues to be responsive, solve the problems, and stand behind his team's work. We had an amazing experience working with Marco and his happy and productive team and can't recommend him more! We chronicled our project with nearly daily updates at the instagram handle @renovate71cc.
We had a fantastic experience working with Marco Polo Home Builders on our home renovation in Massachusetts. Because of the scope of the project, we moved completely out of the house for the duration of the work, and from start to finish Marco, Seichelle, and the entire crew were outstanding. Communication was excellent throughout the project. The team was open, engaged, and very consultative—providing regular updates, walking us through decisions, and proactively discussing any potential changes or disruptions. Whenever we had questions or reached out, they were responsive, often the same day, and consistently followed up with documentation and confirmation of decisions. The project came in on budget and on the projected timeline, with no unexpected cost overruns or delays. The building crew was on site six days a week, started promptly each morning, and worked efficiently without disrupting our neighbors. They were respectful of the property and took care to clean up the job site at the end of every day. Most importantly, the end result exceeded our expectations. We’ve been back in the home for six months now and have had minimal issues, which really speaks to the quality of the work and attention to detail. We would highly recommend Marco Polo Home Builders to anyone considering a home renovation or construction project. Thank you, Marco, Seichelle, and the entire team for a truly great experience!
Marco & team repaired structural issues in our home per an engineer's recommendation. They did a great job, completing the project on a fast timeline, and leaving the space looking good. The crew was polite and professional. I would hire again.
Marco Breda should not be trusted. He did not follow the architect’s plans and used unlicensed plumbers and electricians. They damaged my home and we sued. The court awarded $400,000 to us. Haven’t seen a penny!
