In an August 2025 Google review, a customer described Mark and Diego replacing a full wraparound deck, its posts and flooring, plus a rear deck with Weardeck flooring and composite posts and rails. When the customer noticed a defect on one of the posts after the job was done, Mark came back to make sure it was fixed, and the reviewer wrote that he was still coming back to install a front door with sidelights. The reason they chose him, they said, was his honesty. Mark Kelley Construction is a Connecticut carpentry outfit; its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0672245, is active on the state registry under Mark Kelley Construction. In April 2024 a customer wrote that Mark replaced a section of their handicap ramp railing, searching for a product that is no longer made so the new section would match, and cleaned up completely afterward. The same customer said he installed a medicine cabinet with mirrors in a bathroom, and called him a carpenter with neat workmanship. In May 2025 another customer said the company had done several projects for them over several years. Its BBB grade is A+.
Had Mark and Diego replace a full wrap around deck / posts and flooring along with a rear deck with Weardeck flooring and composite posts and rails. It came out amazing and his attention to detail was great. The reason I chose Mark was his honesty. He’s not the kind of guy to give you the run around. He cares about the person he’s doing the work for and it shows. He even spent time with the kids and let them help start the demolition. He showed up and hit this project out of the park. Even after noticing a defect on one of the posts when the project was done he had no issue coming back to make sure it was fixed and corrected. He’s still coming back to install a front door with sidelights for me and I recommend Mark for your next project. You won’t be disappointed.
Mark Kelley Construction has done several projects over the last several years for us. Mark and his team are amazing. I would highly recommend this company for all of your home improvement needs.
Mark just replaced a section of our handicap ramp railing. The new section looks great! He had to search for the product because it is not made anymore. The new section matches perfectly. Mark organized his work area and cleaned up completely, even putting waste material in trash barrel. Mark is a terrific carpenter. Thanks for a great job. Mark installed a medicine cabinet with mirrors for my husband's bathroom. It is a handsome cabinet. Neat workmanship. Thanks Mark for the many jobs you've done for us.
