Able Construction LLC

Able Construction is the number you dial at two in the morning when a pipe has let go. The Rockland company says it answers flood and water damage calls around the clock across Greater Boston, and it handles what comes after too: mold remediation, then the flooring and kitchen work that puts the house back together. The paperwork is in order. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #187340, is active, and the site also lists a construction supervisor licence, #091043. The Better Business Bureau grades the Rockland profile A+ and has accredited it since 2012, listing 30 years in business — though the BBB record is filed under the related name Able Restoration, Inc., with Able Construction LLC named as the operator, which is worth knowing if you go looking for it. For the restoration side the company lists IICRC and BPI certifications and EPA Lead Certified Firm status. The written history is short: six Google reviews dated 2022 to 2025. The most detailed is from July 2025, when a customer at a multi-unit condo had insulation installed through Mass Save by a team led by Lewis and described them as communicative and easy to work with. A 2022 reviewer said the appointment was made quickly and the crew showed up on time. For an emergency — water in the basement, mold after a leak — this is a licensed, BBB-accredited outfit that lists the certifications that go with that work. Ask for the scope and the price in writing before any demolition starts, and ask who your team lead will be. If you are hiring them for the rebuild rather than the cleanup, ask to see photos of finished flooring and cabinet jobs.
