I contacted Mavy team again after a few years for my interior renovation and a bathroom renovation. The team is still professional and clear communication. As always, they kept the work area clean throughout the entire project. They paid attention to details and made sure everything was done right instead of rushing the job. Based on my experience, I would confidently recommend Mavy Home Improvement to anyone looking for a reliable contractor. We are still very happy with the results and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. I found Mavy Home Improvement and decided to contact them. They responded very quickly. After couple of emails providing info and photos of the projects I needed to get done. They were able to provide the quote in just a day. I hired them for a furniture assembly, fix a hole on my wall, as well as re-caulking my bathtub. Their price is a little bit high but they did a fantastic work, clean, and showed up on time. Will hire them again for future repairs.

We recently purchased a home with known structural damage to our attached garage, however unknown extensiveness of the problem. Manh (Marvin) from Mavy came out to the site promptly and gave us an estimate within the day with detailed explanation about the process and scope of work. The damage turned out to be more than 5 times its size once the demolition began, therefore turned into a big project requiring building permit, structural engineer assessments, etc which is more stressful than we could imagine. Manh made the process as seamless as it could be, connecting us with the right people and took care of all the background work so we can get it done quickly, on top of that not charging us for the enormous extra work. The labor and work process itself was a sight to be admired as we watch Manh and his team took his time, giving everything their full focus at any time as if it was their own home they are fixing. Every single work day the left the work site cleaner and tidier than it was before they started which frankly we have never seen before with any sorts of contractors. We have many friends and family in the general contractor business, but we would not hesitate for one second having Mavy take care of any future project for us or anyone we can recommend to. We are not sure if you can find anyone more affordable than Mavy, but we are sure you won't find anyone with the quality, ethics and dedication these guys have all around New England.

We did a complete renovation of whole upper floor and it was a definitely a challenge due to an older house we have. Mavy was able to conquer every single ones and complete the tasks that meet our 1000% satisfaction. I have interviewed a number of contractors before I hired Mavy and indeed he was the youngest. BUT he knows his stuff, no BS, no non-sense, no attitude. He has the quality that a professional contractor should have, unfortunately not easily found nowadays. His skills, knowledge, dedication and commitments are what you can hope for when you want your project to be done properly and with cares. His prices are great for what you get. Not the cheapest but you will get the quality work. It's totally worth it and good value.

I cannot recommend Marvin, Ivy, and their entire team highly enough. We recently hired them for an extensive project that involved a full attic remodel (bedroom, office, and bathroom), essential repairs on our first and second floors, and bringing basement partition wall up to code. From the start, Marvin impressed us with his professionalism and communication. He manages an excellent team that is not only skilled but extremely respectful. They truly treated our house as if it were their own, ensuring that everything was kept clean and that the work was done to the highest standard. There were more instances when additional problems were identified and his team was also prepared to help out. A huge part of why this project was successful was Ivy. Working with the City of Somerville for permits and inspections can be very difficult and stressful. Ivy was incredibly professional and responsive throughout the entire process. She helped us navigate the permitting hurdles and communicated with the city officials seamlessly, which saved us a massive amount of time and headache.

The Mavy team helped us replace double pocket doors into a regular door setup, with great attention to detail to match the existing trim and color. The team was very communicative and professional, and the work was very well done in a timely manner. We cannot tell the difference between the existing construction and the renovation thanks to the meticulous attention to finishing detail. During the work, the team made every effort to keep the work area clean, mitigating dust and vacuuming daily. We will definitely work with Mavy again for our next project.
