“I placed an order Saturday with Mayday and they delivered Monday at 9am.”
“I think mayday does as well”
“Mayday Oil might. Out of Franklin”
“Advanced Heating Oil or Mayday Oil, I’m sure everyone is backlogged, but these 2 always come through.”
We had an issue with delivery yesterday and Kevin has been extremely responsive and done everything possible to remedy the situation. It’s rare to find a company with such integrity these days. We’ll never order oil anywhere else
Awesome service throughout, from initial phone call to delivery. The best home heating oil prices in the area. You're crazy if you dont call them first.
Great local oil delivery service. I’ve been using them for a bit over a year now, and have found their service to be prompt, courteous, and reliable.
So responsive, kind and helpful!
EDIT: Do better. You lied in your response. You made one attempt, my driveway was plowed and ready for a delivery. I am not responsible for state roads or the condition of your trucks. The first time the driver came he drove up, got out of the truck and took a picture got back in the truck and then drove off. I watched this from my front door and called your office immediately to understand why the delivery wasn't adequately attempted - however I understand your trucks are limited in what they can do in snow. My issue is the customer service and the LACK of professionalism when there is a need to pivot. This is Connecticut and winter brings snow. So what if you received multiple calls? My order was prepaid but the delivery was not made on time. I have the right to call and check on my order. This is how commerce works. You charged my card over $850.00 dollars on 1/27 so YES, I was intent on receiving the order of oil I paid for - and FTR I ordered oil at 1/4 of a tank. I was not on empty and this was not a philanthropic endeavor. It was business; you were fulfilling your obligation of the contract. FTR your truck was very loud and it was impossible to hear myself over the engine running so the "vent" issue remains sus. I was outside MY HOME during the delivery to ensure there were no further delays or excuses - so what??? The delivery person did what he was told to do by you - just as your rude office staff did. If this was your best then close up shop. Excuses, treating paying customers poorly and then lying and gaslighting their experiences is a good way to lose business. I have used your service multiple times and I am genuinely shocked at how disgusting the managers attitude and acumen is. Mayday Oil has terrible customer service and writing an honest review of my experience is the least I can do as well as following up with the BBB. I will gladly take my money and loyalty elsewhere. I have used this company for a while. Needless to say that there is zero respect for recurring customers. When I called to order my last delivery the male who took my call arrogantly GUARANTEED that no other supplier would deliver oil quicker than them. I knew something was off then but in the spirit of needing to heat my home I proceeded with the order at the day price of $3.39 per gallon. The first delivery wasn't made because according to the office help, oil trucks can't deliver on slight inclines in the snow because oil is liquid and that will make the truck imbalanced (ridiculous and my driveway is basically flat) the second delivery was delayed because "the truck broke down" fast forward to the end of day 5 and now my whistle is too quiet to deliver oil. I was told by the delivery person and the arrogant male in the office that it is illegal to deliver oil if there is no whistle. Mayday Oil however delivered 100 gallons to my home - at the new price of $3.54 per gallon because "they delivered under 150 gallons" This is a rather uncute bait and switch. I ordered oil from the same company 5 weeks ago, and previously 5 weeks before this. If it is indeed illegal to deliver oil to then why do so? and if you are going to break the law and deliver oil, why deliver just enough to where you don't have to honor the day price on the order. These small details are what loses customers and prompts reports to the Better Business Bureau, the CT Dept of Consumer Protection and AG's office. You picked the right one on the right day.
