Can’t recommend this group more highly based on our experience with them on two home projects, neither straightforward. Their expertise helped us find solutions for both a shifted foundation, resulting in a slanted front porch with poor support for our roof, and a sudden leak from our attic through our master bedroom ceiling, challenging to remedy due to poor accessibility in our attic, insurance woes, and a not-so-obvious source of the leak. They are exceptional in their work ethic, integrity, experience, professionalism, and excellent communication. We feel lucky to have such talent locally!

My 99-year-old Mom lives in Poland, ME in her own home. I come into town a few times a year to help with home maintenance. This time, her ramp was badly decayed, with boards making trip hazards, and the rails no longer sound. My wife called Mayer Builders of Gray, ME to see if they could help. The owner, Greg Mayer, was quick to come assess the situation and to provide a quote. His son, Sam, was our project manager. I cannot say enough good things about the kindness and professionalism of these men. They ripped out the old ramp and built a new, much sturdier and safer ramp for Mom in only 2 days! I know these folks are used to working much larger jobs, but despite the miniscule size of our project, they were simply a joy to work with. And the craftmanship and attention to detail that went into this project is something to behold. The ramp is not only safe and functional, but it perfectly matches the existing porch, enhancing the beauty of Mom's home. Mayer Builders, you guys knocked it out of the park! These folks have my highest recommendation.
