McCormick&Bonner Oil delivers heating oil to the towns its website names: Lenox, New Britain, Windsor, Bloomfield, Hartford and West Hartford. The site says the office will refer customers to technicians for service calls and tune-ups. A 2024 customer said they had used the company for six years, that its delivery people were courteous and quick, and that the office made it easy to place orders. A 2024 customer said all three of their oil deliveries were clean and easy, with the same driver each time. A 2025 customer said that over three years the company always showed up the next day as told. Its BBB grade is A+. A 2024 customer said an oil order placed the week of a snowstorm was promised for the next day, and a week later they were told no ticket had ever been put in. A 2024 customer wrote that a scheduled delivery never came on the scheduled day two years in a row and that phone calls went unanswered. A 2025 customer said their card was run before the agreed draft date and declined, and that more oil went into the tank than they asked for. A 2026 customer said the company bounced their check three times. A 2026 customer who had just moved to New Britain said the company told them it was not accepting new clients.
Don’t even bother, I just moved to New Britain and I called today and they said they aren’t accepting new clients. CALL SOMEONE ELSE!

i have order oil from here before but like everyone else we have to find the cheapest price out there but because i have not order from this company they refuse to give me oil they said that i am a new customer and they are not taking any new customer at the moment be very careful with them because they never said any of this to us
Address and hours aren’t even correct online, they bounced my check 3 separate times, including taking money out of my account two days before the date of the check was written the first time, then proceeded to return and take it out two more times, and on top of that, the building they’re in doesn’t promote their business at all, but inside an attorney’s office. Can’t trust this place, too many headaches.
I ordered a 100 gallons of oil for my residence from this company. They filled my tank up and left a hefty bill. I provided my card info and ask them if they could draft it on that date which the receptionist said it was fine. I'm receiving calls from the company and wondering why. I talked to the receptionist and she tells me that my card was declined. I explained to her the prior arrangements. She keeps telling me that she doesn't know and that my card was declined. HELLLLOOOOOO! of course it was because your running my card before the arrangement date. The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. If you wasn't going to honor the draft date just tell me and I would've made other arrangements. Besides! Its not my fault because you put more in my tank than I ask for. IM DONE!
