One January 2018 job put the company in the news. NBC Boston reported that a 27-year-old employee was killed in a construction accident in Gloucester that Thursday morning, while using a mini-excavator to dig out part of the foundation of a Nashua Avenue home. The Boston Herald reported the same week that the Essex County District Attorney's office identified the man as an employee of the company and was withholding his name until his family had been notified. If you are hiring for a foundation dig or site work, ask who will be running the machine on your job and who supervises the crew day to day, and ask for current workers' compensation and liability certificates before anyone breaks ground.
