META HVAC is an Everett-based company centered on Felipe, described in multiple reviews alongside his father, who reviewers say responds quickly and worked confidently on an older unit most technicians wouldn't touch. The company describes itself as a Massachusetts HVAC contractor offering cooling, heating, AC maintenance, and mini-split work, self-reporting decades of experience — 30 years on its own site, 36 on its Angi profile — and Spanish-language service. Reviewers consistently describe fast response and clear communication, including during real emergencies: a 2026 review described a power surge from a utility outage frying a furnace control board over a holiday weekend, with the team diagnosing and restoring heat promptly. Another 2025 review said Felipe was the only technician, out of half a dozen companies contacted, who actually called back — and proved the repair with photos at a fair price. In a 2023 review, a customer said they were charged $480 to replace a $10 capacitor in a 15-minute job, and that when they questioned the markup they were told it was 'normal pricing.' For HVAC repair, especially an emergency fix, META HVAC has a strong recent record of fast, communicative service. Given the 2023 pricing complaint, it's worth asking for an upfront estimate on parts and labor before agreeing to a repair.
