A recent Google customer who said they had moved many times with the military wrote that they had never seen anyone load a truck as well as the owner of Movers of Honor. Their trailer cost was based on space used, and that customer said he saved them hundreds of dollars and that the 3-man crew was capable. A recent Google customer said Mark and his crew carefully wrapped and reassembled their furniture, moved a lot of boxes and kept them informed from start to finish, and called the pricing fair. A recent customer said the company returned phone calls and showed up on time. In a 2022 r/RhodeIsland thread, a commenter said the company did not charge hourly but set a price based on how many boxes and furniture items you have, and called it veteran owned and operated. A recent 3-star Google customer described a move that went wrong. That customer said the owner, Mark, looked over the job and suggested a smaller truck to save money; the office did not fit, and the customer was charged for a separate trip from the first location to storage. The same customer said an end table rolled off the truck and was damaged, and the glass on the side of a 6-foot glass hutch was broken at the storage stop.
“Movers of Honor. They don’t charge hourly, they do a set price based on how many boxes and furniture items you have. Plus they’re veteran owned and operated.”
Mark and his crew were fantastic during our move. The entire team communicated with us from start to finish. They carefully wrapped and reassembled our furniture, moved tons of boxes, were so efficient, and were kind and respectful in the process. On top of that, I felt like I could really trust the team and the pricing was absolutely fair. I would not hesitate to recommend Movers of Honor to all of my family and friends.
I have used Movers of Honor a few times. I have to say that every time they have exceeded my expectations. Their crew is highly professional and always treated my job as if it was their most important. I can’t recommend them enough!
These guys were great to work with and their skill level was genuinely top notch. I’ve moved many times with the military, and I’ve never seen anyone load a truck as well as the owner of MOH. Our trailer cost was based on space utilized, so he saved us hundreds of dollars. Handling of our furniture was done well, and the 3 man crew that showed up was highly capable. We’re no longer in the area, but I would recommend to anyone who is there, or moving to the Providence area.
Recently hired Movers of Honor. And what a fantastic experience it was. The whole process went very smoothly. They returned their phone calls, and showed up on time. If your concern about hiring any movers because of hidden fees or shady practices, this company is the complete opposite!! I would hire them again if I need to in the future!!
I am generous with the ⭐️⭐️⭐️stars. They were Polite but DON’t listen and BREAK stuff. 🤷🏻♀️ Hi! I had heard great things about Movers of honors. So I gave them a try. The first step was speaking with Orsula who asked a lot of questions and answers a lot of mine. I told to my best knowledge how many boxes we had and pieces of furniture. I said the pieces were large and thinking we would need the bigger truck. The owner mark came over to look around and assess what we had and what we needed. We told him there were a few ipieces we were no longer moving. After looking around he said oh you have a lot less. We can save you money getting a smaller truck. I like everyone wants to save money but I wanted everything to fit. The movers came. They were very polite and Pleasent but got right to work. As they were packing one of the young men said is this room going ( the office)Yes all except 2 pieces of furniture which left a leather love seat a desk selves and a table. The proceeded to pack then said they were finished and the truck was full. I reminded them they didn’t do the office. They said we can’t fit anymore. At this point we were on a time schedule and needed to move stuff to 2 different places both a half hour away. When they unloaded at the first stop an end table rolled off the truck and was damaged. At our next stop which was storage the 3 guys were moving a 6 foot glass hutch and broke the glass on the side of the hutch. One of the men said he pushed his body too hard against it. At this point I had already called Orsula the owner Mark’s wife. And said all the stuff didn’t fit in the truck bc it wasn’t big enough. She told me we should have called right away so they could bring a bigger truck. In hindsight maybe I should have but I didn’t so she said I’d have to pay as if it wasn’t a whole other move. From the first location to storage. I also wrote an email about this adding about the damaged furniture. She said she was sorry and had to talk with Mark her husband and owner. They did not get back to me just charged me with an amount they saw fit. Someone else had to meet them instead of me so they took furniture they shouldn’t have bc that other person told them too. Not the movers fault. But if they had the bigger truck in the first place that mistake would NOT have happened everything would’ve fit and AND the whole move would’ve been done all at once with me running it smoothly. Probably would have still broken the furniture though. 🤦🏻♀️
