Would give them 0. BEWARE! TOTAL SCAM! Quote tripled when they got to our home on moving day. The experience was so horrible, we told them to leave our property.

Terrible experience with Born to Move. They completely mishandled my move, showed up unprepared, and ultimately left me scrambling on moving day to figure out another solution. After providing all the information they asked for ahead of time, I expected a much more organized and professional experience. I would not recommend them.

This was by far the worst moving experience I have ever had, and I would not recommend Born to Move. Before the move, I took pictures of the property, sent them everything they requested, explained what needed to be moved, and specifically told them over the phone that I needed overnight storage. Despite having all of that information in advance, they showed up on moving day with a truck that was too small and then suddenly increased my quote by roughly $5,000 with additional charges and add-ons. What made the experience even worse was how the move itself was handled. They left doors open, left gates open, and the entire situation felt completely disorganized. After already providing detailed information about the property and the move ahead of time, I could not understand how the pricing could change so dramatically once they arrived. The situation became so frustrating that I ultimately had to tell them to leave my property and find another solution. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering Born to Move to make sure every detail, storage requirement, truck size, and possible additional charge is confirmed in writing before moving day.

Born to Move was great for our move from Boston to Providence. They were punctual, careful with our things, and very professional. Would def recommend them!

My fiancee and I used Born to Move to move locally in RI. We were promised local movers, but on the day of our move, the movers were over an hour late due to the fact they were coming from East Boston (we were the first customers that morning). When they finally arrived, they were shocked to discover there was another stop (my fiancées apartment) after mine, telling me their supervisor never mentioned that. The movers frequently took breaks on their cell phones, pushing the moving time longer than it needed to take. As a result, we ended up paying almost $500 more than what was initially estimated. We feel taken advantage of and will never use this company again.
