A July 2025 Thumbtack customer had a runner installed on the stairs so their dog could get up and down more easily, and said they would use the crew again. In May 2025, another described a re-carpeted staircase and wrote that the crew responded quickly and kept in touch. In March 2025, a customer credited Mike with pulling an old carpet out of a walk-in closet and laying a new one — responsive over text, quick to fit the job in, on time on the day. The quoting gets its own mention: a May 2025 reviewer buying carpet for the first time called the consultation and quote transparent. Google's side is older and shorter — five-star notes from May 2024 calling the work practical and fast, and one naming Mike and Simon as attentive to detail and open about the process. Thumbtack's 30 ratings average 5.0; the six Google ratings average 5★. The work isn't only flooring. A 2024 Thumbtack reviewer had crown moulding and a threshold fixed at an investment property, and the Thumbtack profile also lists trim and moulding installation, cabinetry, door installation, finish carpentry, furniture assembly and TV mounting. This is a sensible call for carpet and flooring jobs and the trim-and-door work around them, particularly if you want someone who answers a text. Get the scope and the price in writing before the crew starts, and ask for the home improvement contractor registration and a certificate of insurance.
These guys were great! Came and installed a runner for our stairs that makes it much easier for our dog to go up and downstairs. Would use them again in a heartbeat for our next job
From start to finish, I was very happy with my experience! Very transparent during the consultation/quoting process. Responsive & friendly/professional. I have never replaced, nor purchased carpet before! He (I want to say his name is Mike, but my memory is terrible when it comes to names) provided me options and explained the differences in quality/price. He made this process easy for me. Not only that he removed and installed carpet on my 13 steps in under an hour and cleaned up after themselves! The price was great in my eyes and worth every penny! Great experience working with Mike - he removed an old carpet and installed a new one in our walk in closet. He was very responsive over text leading up to the install and was able to fit our project in quickly. He arrived on time, was professional and knowledgeable, and our new carpet looks really great. We would use him and his company again!
