In January 2024 a Reddit commenter wrote that they were building a double-wall straw bale passive house with New Frameworks, and that the company can scale how much of a project it takes on, from design work to turnkey. In March 2024 another commenter working with the company on their buildings wrote that it can tailor its level of involvement to the client's experience. A March 2024 commenter wrote that New Frameworks makes straw bale prefab panels using leftover straw from the Nitty Gritty Grain Co. and builds houses suited to northern Vermont weather. In November 2024 a Reddit commenter described the company as prefabricating custom and pre-designed homes using straw structural insulated panels.
