The Norwood outfit is a building contractor — decks and porches, kitchens and baths, windows and flooring — with Geisha Bueno as president; its BBB profile lists eight years in business. Its written record runs 2020 to 2021. A November 2021 homeowner had a back deck rebuilt and painted, called the crew polite, informative and efficient, and said the price was competitive with the other quotes he had collected. A September 2021 reviewer who gathered seven quotes to replace a porch wrote that Bill was straight with him from the beginning, gave clear expectations about the building permit timeline, and did not over-promise. Smaller jobs show up too. In December 2020, a homeowner who could not get anyone to repair a fence — other companies wanted new installations only — wrote that the repair was handled without fuss, the price was right and everything was cleaned up. Another December 2020 review covers window installation finished when they said it would be. A January 2021 customer who had hired them both personally and professionally listed a kitchen and bathroom remodel among the work; a March 2021 reviewer singled out the crew and the communication, and another that month said they took care of his budget and finished the project on time. One person never got that far. A Thumbtack reviewer in October 2021 wrote that an appointment for a quote was rescheduled and then nobody showed, and that messages asking when they would come by were ignored. And the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration held by N.H.R. Group Inc. is expired. Their directory pages also disagree about the trade: Angi's describes a roofing specialist, while Houzz and Thumbtack list remodeling, decks, carpentry and painting. For a deck rebuild, a porch replacement or a bath remodel — the work customers actually wrote about — NHR Group is a reasonable call in the Norwood area. Ask about the expired registration before you sign anything, and get the first quote appointment confirmed in writing rather than planning your week around it.
