Norfolk Floor Service

Norfolk Floor Service is a Quincy hardwood refinishing outfit, and most of its reviews are about Wu and his crew moving fast. A June 2021 HomeAdvisor customer said the team refinished about 2,500 square feet in two days; a March 2021 customer posted a request on a Thursday, had an estimate on Friday and a finished first coat by Saturday morning. A May 2021 reviewer with one small damaged room said the price was proportional, where other companies had project minimums more than twice as high. HomeAdvisor shows 4.6 stars from 140 ratings and Angi 4.3 from 6, with written reviews from 2019 to 2025. The newest, from 2025, call the crew responsive and flexible with a tight schedule. In a December 2023 review, a customer whose house had water damage from a frozen pipe said Norfolk was redoing the interior, walls, windows, floors, bathroom and kitchen. The complaints are older and specific. In an October 2019 Angi review, a landlord said hardwood was installed over unused heating-vent holes without a subfloor and that Wu mostly did not answer requests to come back and fix it. A February 2019 customer mentioned last-minute schedule changes and confusion over when payment was due, and an April 2020 reviewer said communication was sometimes difficult.
