We just tried the HVAC service/maintenance using North Winds Mechanical for the first time yesterday out at our house here on Miacomet Pond. The person running the office was great from first contact, really pleasant and organized. He got us on their books right away and asked the right questions to have a good sense of how long the North Winds technician would need to be at our house. The guy they sent, Brandon, arrived exactly on time and was such a good guy. He was excellent - getting up to speed on the complexities of our multi-system HVAVs and split unit immediately. Everything seems to be running even more efficiently now, and it is a relief to find such a good HVAC service provider for our house. We plan to stick with them going forward. And - this is Nantucket so nothing here is cheap - but I felt like what they charged for what was done was very sane considering the cost challenges every small business up here faces being on a small island with seasonal demands. North Winds seems like a good business and I encourage supporting it!
