NorthEast LM Construction is a Plymouth-based general contracting and remodeling company that father-son team Michael and Liam Cosgrove started together in 2018 — Michael bringing more than 30 years as a general contractor, Liam nearly 10 more. Carpenter Ed Broderick joined the team in 2020. The projects described in reviews run from routine remodels to a full custom build: a 2023 review said the couple hired the company as general contractor to build their entire house, calling Liam and Mike highly communicative through every step and the whole experience the best decision they made. Other reviews describe a full basement renovation paired with a two-floor interior repaint and new windows, brick steps replaced with a new porch alongside a full bathroom gut, and — most recently, in 2025 — a pergola and new deck added to a home where the company had already done siding, hardwood floors, and bathroom work. One fact worth knowing before signing a contract: Massachusetts registry records show the company's Home Improvement Contractor registration has expired. The Better Business Bureau separately lists a different, self-reported state construction supervisor license number for the company, a distinct credential from HIC registration that hasn't been checked against that registry either. For a full remodel, addition, or even a full home build in the Plymouth area, the finished work in these reviews is consistently well-regarded; given the registration status above, confirm current licensing directly with the company before signing anything.
We have had L & M Northeast Construction do several projects around our house, new siding, hardwood floors, bathroom remodels and the last project a pergola and new deck. They have always been extremely professional, timely and within budget. The finished projects are beautiful.
My wife and I recently purchased a new home and were in major need of some bathroom renovations. We were so so so happy with how the newly renovated bathrooms turned out! Not only was it beautifully done but Northeast LM Construction kept us updated and reached out for any decisions that needed to be made. Will definitely be utilizing them again!
We hired Michael and Liam aka L & M Construction to do a few projects at our home. We had brick steps at the front of our home and they removed them and built us a beautiful porch which changed the entire look of our home. The other job was a full gut of our bathroom. The work that they did was amazing! They were extremely clean, neat and efficient. When they left at the end of each work day, I was always amazed at how their work area was always cleaned up. I could not have been happier with their work.
We love Northeast LM!!! They did a full basement renovation for us and it came out stunning. Along with a complete interior paint job on our first and second floor along with new windows. Can’t recommend them enough!! Don’t trust anyone else with our home remodels
There is no one else my husband and I would use other than Northeast LM Construction! We have used them for numerous projects at multiple homes. From a new roof, new front steps, to the most beautiful shed I’ve ever seen- they do it all! We are now in the process of putting an addition onto our home. Mike and Liam have been quick to answer any and all questions, professional, and just an overall pleasure to work with. We are thankful we found such an incredible company to work with!
