Oceanside Pools has been serving Cape Cod for a long time. The company's own site claims 50 years in business, while BBB's file on it says it started in 1996, closer to 30 years; either way, this is a long-running Harwich pool and spa outfit covering Plymouth, Cape Cod and Nantucket, doing maintenance, repairs, safety covers and liners. Google's page for the business shows 4.4 stars from 11 ratings, and BBB, while not accrediting it, gives it an A+ grade. But the one written review on file, from June 2026, tells a more specific story: a longtime customer says the service used to be very good but has grown much less responsive over the years, to the point they're looking for a new company. Worth knowing before calling: the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration tied to the business, held by Edward Morgan, is on record as expired, and BuildZoom's own copy of that same license shows it lapsed back in 2009. BuildZoom separately lists a second license number for the company, #169199, as inactive too. None of that means the current work is bad, but for a pool company this old, it's a fair thing to ask about directly. For routine maintenance or a safety cover, the star ratings suggest most customers are still satisfied. Just confirm current licensing and get a sense of turnaround time before signing up, given the recent complaint about slower response.
