Five years, eight years, and in one case back to 2002 — several of the people who hired Peter Heaney kept calling him back. Two Angi reviewers writing in November 2023 counted eight years of work on one house and five years on another: bathroom remodels, windows and doors replaced, Azek installed outside, interior woodwork updated. A third, that same month, traced the relationship to a 2002 gut remodel of a condo kitchen and bath. Heaney is the principal of the Westwood company, which BBB and Angi both put at 27 years in business. The jobs run small and large. In a March 2024 Google review, a customer described framing remediation in their garage — honest, realistic and knowledgeable was how they put it, and the work came in on schedule to the day. In April 2022, someone who hired Onsite for a commercial property and then their own house described a neat, tidy crew that suggested the upgrades and work the place needed, with quotes that were reasonable and carried no added surprises. Another November 2023 reviewer said the crew never cut corners, and that Heaney's own workers and subcontractors followed his lead. There is a much bigger side to this business than bathrooms and trim. A Massachusetts news site reported in January 2019 that the Westwood company was proposing a 72-unit apartment complex at 11-26 Heron St. in West Roxbury, and Banker & Tradesman reported that April that Onsite said it would completely rebuild Heron Street to modern standards and add sidewalks and street trees as it constructs the 78,704-square-foot project. Its BuildZoom page lists 17 projects at the Westwood address — residential remodels, additions, roofing, siding and window permits — and its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+, though the company is not accredited there. Before you call, two notes. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #186953, is active on the state registry under Onsite Builders & Development LLC. And a 2021 page on hallapproved.com names Onsite Builders & Development, LLC among defendants; if a past case would weigh on your decision, ask Heaney about it directly. The right call for a homeowner planning an addition, a new build, or a run of work spread over years with one builder to phone back — Angi's profile lists the company for additions, home building and new construction. If your job is a single bathroom or a window swap, confirm it is work they will take, and settle the price at the start, the way customers writing in 2022 and 2023 described it.
