Ponce has been an absolute joy to work with on small and large projects, including our kitchen remodel! He is a consummate professional, meticulous, reliable, considerate, and always positive. He is a wonderful listener and really tries to understand and execute the goals of the customer. We could not be happier to have Ponce and his wife Terry work together with us! (We would have given him 6 stars!)
Five stars to P.I.E. Home Improvements. Ponce tackles a project as if it were in his own home. He is meticulous and a superb craftsman. He just completed a bathroom remodel for us and we could not be more pleased. From start to finish he was professional…. quick to respond to look at the job, quick to send an estimate, scheduled at a time that worked best for us, showed up to work exactly when he said he would, and completed the project a bit sooner than expected. Ponce takes pride in his craft and made sure we were completely satisfied before he finished to project. We will definitely be calling him for future projects.
Basement Remodeling: Started the project well but in my opinion did not end well. When the job was done he refused to meet me and wanted me to pay him electronically. Could not open one of the doors because it rubbed against the floor. I think he should have foreseen the problem ahead before putting down the floor and informed us. When I discovered the problem and told him about it he argued with me and wanted to charge me more to fix the problem. At the end he left the key outside under a rock and did not inform us knowing well we were going out of town for a week. It was a disappointing experience for us and on his part an irresponsible behavior. The fix for the door problem was taking the door out and shaving the bottom which was a 15 minutes job.
Ponce, who is a superb carpenter, is a perfectionist and is very meticulous in his work. He fixed and rebuilt my chimney, installed gutter guards, reattached my siding, and rebuilt and painted a 20 ft hallway and ceiling. He put in new doorways which open and close so smoothly. All his work was expertly done at reasonable rates. Totally satisfied.
Ponce is a fantastic carpenter, who is attentive to detail. He installed three floors of windows and fixed deteriorating window frames by matching them with aged wood. Due to wetness, I had a chronic problem with warping on a garage door. He solved the issue ingeniously, where a previous carpenter never figured how to correct it. Ponce responds quickly to all calls, shows up on time and works late. He is a keeper, who is well worth his price.
