The name on the truck changed this year. Patriot Contracting now works as Home Exterior Experts out of the same Framingham address, with the same team by the company's own account, so both names still surface when you search. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, held under the combined name. The company says it is led by partners Paulo Sardinha, Fabiana Sardinha and Ronaldo Salgado, with Jim Ward running sales. What they do, over and over, is fiber cement siding. James Hardie board turns up in review after review and in most of the 13 permits filed around MetroWest — Needham, Stow, Maynard, Framingham, Lowell, Ashland — where the typical job runs about $39,000. Strip-and-re-roof work shows up too, often on the same house. The reviews name names. A June 2025 customer described Jim and Luke Ward sending a video quote, then Ronnie taking the project over: permits pulled, product ordered, a foreman on site daily, and a job he expected to take four to six weeks finished in two. In August 2021 two homeowners separately wrote about crews working through extreme heat and clearing the site every night. Google sits at 4.9 across 37 ratings and Thumbtack at 4.8 across 31, with written accounts running back to 2019. Two things are worth raising. In a March 2026 review, a homeowner pleased with his Hardie siding said the Harvey windows leaked during windy rain; the company worked with the manufacturer to resolve that, but his later messages about wind coming through the sashes went unanswered. And in June 2023 a one-star reviewer said the estimator visited, took photos, twice promised a quote, and never sent one. OSHA's site also carries a fall-protection citation against the company, over a roof anchorage not rated to hold 5,000 pounds per worker; no date is attached to it, so there is no telling how old it is. One more thing to square: the website advertises 30-plus years of exterior work, while the BBB profile puts the corporation's incorporation at 2013. If you want Hardie siding on a New England house and you care about who is actually running the job day to day, this is a reasonable call — that is the work nearly every review describes, and the BBB accreditation and A+ grade date from April 2026. Before signing, get the window brand and its warranty terms in writing, settle who to contact once the crew leaves, and ask what came of the OSHA anchorage citation.
“Anchorages used for attachment of personal fall arrest equipment were not independent of any anchorage being used to support or suspend platforms and/or were not installed or used to be capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds (22.2 kN) per employee: Apartment Complex Roof - The installation of anchorage used by the employer was not capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds per employee.”

I’ve purposely waited a few years after my siding and window replacement project to write this review. I wanted the initial euphoria to wear off so that I could make a clearer appraisal of the contractor and products involved. As such, the planning, installation and short support periods afterwards were very good. I also happen to be the person being interviewed in the website’s You Tube video and I still feel the same, overall. While I’ve been happy so far with the Hardie siding product and installation process, I draw the line at the Harvey windows. After initial installation, all of the Majesty line double-hung windows began to leak in water during windy rainstorms. It turns out the glue between the glass and wood frame was not allowed to completely cure before the windows were shipped from the manufacturer. Since I noticed this during the initial post-installation days, Patriot worked with Harvey to satisfactorily resolve this issue. However, I now have another issue with the same windows where wind blows in between the sashes and sash liners. I reached out to Patriot about this but my inquiries have gone unanswered. And after contacting Harvey, I was informed that they have only a paltry (1) year warranty manufacturer’s warranty. Patriot is good, but think twice about installing Harvey windows.

I prioritized craftsmanship and trust when I decided to look for a siding contractor for our home. For materials we decided on JH, which led us to finding Patriot. Patriot's ability to use information from the hover app sped up their estimate process as they were the first company to give us an estimate. There were so many times I walked around during the project saying to myself “I'm so glad I went with Patriot”. A hard working, experienced crew, along with great communication and attention to detail. They went above and beyond to meet our requests. The results are amazing! I'm very impressed by the roof-line. People passing by have gone out of their way to stop and compliment us on our home's transformation. Thank you Patriot!

I couldn't be happier with the James Hardie siding project that Patriot Contracting did at our house. From the start, Jim and Luke Ward reached out right away to our inquiry, answered all of our questions and even made a nice video/quote proposal to walk us through different options available. Then once we gave the greenlight to move forward, they connected us with Ronnie who oversaw the entire project. He came out to talk through everything with us and made sure we felt comfortable before the project began. Then he arranged all necessary permits, ordered the product we needed and arranged for the various crews (from those that did the siding to the electricians. Ronnie also had a foreman on the job that supervised the different workers that came by each day so we didn't have to worry about anything, and they would check in after each day. The workers that did the siding and electrical work finished a job that I'd normally expect to take 4-6 weeks in 2. (technically it could have been done in 1, but they realized they had to replace our roofline framing during the job, and they arranged for another crew to fix that during the project without missing a beat). They worked from 7-6 each day and were so meticulous in the work they did. Even after we paid in full, they came back the next day to check on the job and fixed one thing they forgot to put a cap on that we hadn't even noticed. We couldn't be happier with the final product and have had so many neighbors, many of which we didn't know prior, stop by and say how nice the house looks. We would highly recommend Patriot Contracting and Ronnie's crew to anyone.
