Kevin and his Plattypus team did an outstanding job of remodeling my small kitchen, in spite of the ongoing restrictions of the pandemic. Kevin took care of all necessary permits, was mindful of the rules and concerns of the building management company so I had no worries. Once they got the okay to begin the project, the job was completed in a timely manner and I am very happy with the results and the quality of the work. I appreciate the professionalism of those working in my condo, always arriving exactly on time, cleaning up thoroughly before they left, and keeping me informed of their progress and schedule of deliveries. Kevin and his colleagues at Plattypus gutted our home in the South End in Boston taking it from a classic brownstone design to a modern one. We were most impressed by the craftsmanship of the work, the ownership and pride everyone at Plattypus (including contractors) took in the project, and the responsiveness of Kevin, who was always quick to return emails and texts when concerns or questions arose. Our project was a complicated one, lasting over eighteen months, as it included major structural fixes and complex design due to the contemporary look that our architect had drawn up (see pictures of the steel and glass stairs on the Plattypus web site). Kevin maintains high standards and remained committed to our project until every last detail was perfect. The project came in on budget and only saw changes because we dictated them. The end result was our dream home that came out just as we had imagined. I would highly recommend Kevin's work and those of his skilled tradesmen.
