Plymouth Electric LLC is a family-owned shop out of Plymouth run by Andrew Picard, serving the South Shore and Cape Cod, and its Massachusetts electrician license is active on the state registry. It's also a Generac Certified Installer, which shows up directly in its generator work. The volume here is unusual for the trade: 5 stars from 32 Google ratings, and every one of the 30 written reviews on file, running from 2023 through this spring, is five stars too. The through-line across them is responsiveness — several reviewers compare Andrew favorably to other electricians who never called back. One homeowner said they'd reached out to three other electricians before finding Andrew; two never followed up after an initial call, a third came out to assess the job and then went silent, while Andrew's team called back promptly and worked around the customer's schedule. The specific jobs stack up. In a recent review, the crew installed a generator two days after being called, ahead of a February blizzard, with a newborn on the way. In a February 2026 review, a homeowner described custom shower and bathroom lighting designed together with Andrew over the course of a remodel. In a 2025 review, a customer described a 70-plus-year-old touch-plate lighting system that had to be fully replaced — a three-day job a crew of three finished in one day, working from 8 a.m. to completion at 2 p.m. Another described one of the largest jobs on record: wiring and a new fuse box for a whole-home emergency generator, split out of two existing fuse boxes, with Andrew coming back at no charge to wire in circuits the customer had initially forgotten. A facility manager at a lumber yard says the company has handled repeat commercial work there since 2023. For South Shore and Cape Cod homeowners, from a small fixture swap to a full-home rewire or a storm-ready generator, the reviews describe the same pattern each time: quick to respond, thorough on-site, and priced fairly even when the job runs into extra work.
With a newborn expected during the blizzard in February we were anxious to get a generator installed. Plymouth Electric came out two days after our phone call and did an outstanding job. Outstanding service and pricing.
Second time using this business and everything was perfect! Highly recommended!
I cannot say enough about Andrew and his team from Plymouth Electric. I wanted some custom designed lighting in mu bathroom remodel, specifically in my shower. Andrew worked together with me to make my vision a reality. His crew of electricians are all extremely respectful, conscientious and knowledgeable. Plymouth Eectric also did the rest of my bathroom lighting including my sconces and chandelier. The result was beyond my expectations and Andrew always checked in along the way to ensure I was happy with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone! As you can see, the pictures speak for themselves.
They were quick to respond and schedule an appointment.
Andrew and his team are exceptional! Could not ask for a better company to complete the job on time and deal with any issue that could possibly arise.
