A customer snapped a plastic screw on his chlorinator in May 2025 and drove to the Amesbury store for the part. One customer has used them for more than fifteen years and says the inground pool opens with clear water every spring, where the previous company's openings came up black with algae. Another had their pool installed ten years ago and bought a hot tub in 2025 that the team had running within a few weeks. A September 2024 customer said Matt came out at the height of the season, knew what the problem was immediately, and did not charge for the visit. In September 2022, a leak repair that looked like it would force a new liner was worked out without one. An August 2024 reviewer called the service staff incompetent, and in July 2022 a customer posted a photo of a pool vacuumed only halfway and said the emailed complaint went unanswered. Google shows 4.6 stars across 77 ratings. One story reached the local news. Boston 25 News reported in April 2017 that Precision Pool offered to build a pool in a local family's backyard for free after the station covered them; that coverage describes the family having paid a different contractor in full for a pool that was never delivered.
