Proline Painting Services Inc.

Read through Proline Painting's reviews and the same first names keep coming back: Michael, Fernando, Chris, Marcos, Beny, Levi. Customers name the person who showed up, and they have been doing it across 42 Google reviews since 2021, behind a 5-star average from 48 ratings. Cabinets show up more than anything else you can count: nine reviews are about kitchen cabinets. In a May 2025 review, Fernando, Marcos and Levi refinished a customer's kitchen cabinets and painted the ceiling and trim; in a July 2022 review, a customer whose cabinets went from stained wood to white said Michael held to the estimated cost, start time and duration of the job. Interiors are the bulk of the work. A June 2026 customer had six rooms painted in an old Cambridge brownstone and said the price was right. An April 2026 reviewer wrote that the crew taped and covered everything, worked quickly and cleaned up — hard to know they had been there the day before. In an August 2025 review, a customer whose builder kept slipping said the team rescheduled cheerfully through repeated requests and finished five different paint colors on time and on budget. The awkward jobs turn up too. A 2022 reviewer living in a high-ceilinged industrial loft — exposed piping, wood beams and brick stained by water after a fire — wrote that some painters had not even wanted to take the job on. A 2023 review describes new plaster ceilings hung alongside the painting, with Mike proposing a different sheen than the customer had first considered. Outside work runs to a whole house exterior in a July 2025 review, a building exterior that October, and back decks in a May 2024 one. Two things to settle before booking. The company's own site covers interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, staining and pressure washing across Greater Boston, with a neighbourhood list running from Back Bay and Beacon Hill through Dorchester and Jamaica Plain — check yours is on it. And its age is told two ways: the Better Business Bureau, which grades it A+, puts the business at 12 years under owner Michael Neves, while its Angi profile cites 18 years of experience. For painted rooms and refinished cabinets in Boston, handled by the lean team a March 2026 customer described, this is a straightforward call. Ask for the written estimate with the cost, the start date and the number of days on it — that is exactly what 2022 customers said they got — and for proof of insurance before anyone opens a paint can.
