Boston Contractor Services is a Massachusetts general contractor whose customers keep coming back — several reviewers describe working with owner Ronei (Ronnie) Nunes and his crew across multiple jobs and properties over four to more than ten years. The state registry verifies that the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The Better Business Bureau separately gives the company an A+ accredited rating. The work described spans masonry, exterior finishing, and general remodeling. In a 2024 review, a homeowner said Ronei repaired crumbling cement on a 193-foot retaining wall, re-pointed front brick steps, and stained a new cedar fence. A 2023 review describes staining decks and two exterior walls, replacing shingles, and adding a new stone garden feature on a three-family house, and another 2023 review said an interior wall rebuild — sheetrock, sealed-off dust containment, and paint — came out beautifully. A separate 2024 review said window replacement work went well enough that the company was called back for a number of smaller repairs, and a recent review described an apartment renovation with pricing the customer checked against an outside contact in the trade. One 2023 reviewer said they'd worked with the owner for over 10 years; another said 4 years across multiple properties. Directories don't agree on the company's address — Revere on its Better Business Bureau profile, Watertown on Angi, and Everett for the owner on BuildZoom — worth confirming directly. The Better Business Bureau also lists a separate construction supervisor license for the business. Angi's profile notes free estimates but no emergency service or written warranty. For a general remodeling job — exterior masonry, staining, window work, or an interior repair — this is a contractor several repeat customers vouch for. Confirm the current address, ask whether the job comes with any warranty, and get the estimate in writing before booking.
I used Ronnie to renovate my apartment over this past year and couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. He was incredibly professional, responsive to any questions I may have had with fair prices that I verified with an outside source who was also in the business. The work was high quality-- we couldn't have been happier. Definitely recommend.
Ronei did several terrific jobs for us—repairing the crumbling cement on the 193 ft long retaining wall around our property, then staining it; re-pointing our front brick steps; and placing two coats of stain on our new cedar fence. We are very glad to have found him. He does very nice work, is attentive to details, and his prices are very fair.
I recently hired Boston Contractor Services for some window replacement work in my condo and was extremely impressed, in every respect. I’ve already had them back to do a number of small repairs that have been waiting for the right contractor to do, and I’m thrilled with the results. I’ve worked with many contractors over the past 25 years and Boston Contractor Services is the best I’ve ever seen. They do excellent work, their pricing is fair, their communications/scheduling is responsive and flexible, they are professional, friendly, and truly a pleasure to deal with.
We are very happy with the work done by Boston Contractor Services! The scope of the work on our 3-family house included staining of all our front and back decks (decking and rails), shingle replacement and staining of two of our three exterior walls, a new stone garden/retaining wall, granite exterior steps, and new lattice work surrounding the front deck. Ronei and his team consistently demonstrated to be professionals, timely & prompt, easy to work with, and above all demonstrated pride in their work! After completely renovating a two family and a three family building, I have worked with many contractors and Boston Contractor Services are among the best! We highly recommend them!
Excellent company. Very reliable and do terrific work. Have known Ronie and his crew for many years and can confidently and enthusiastically recommend them.
