Reframe Systems is an Andover design-build home manufacturer that acts as architect of record and general contractor, fabricating high-performance homes, ADUs, townhomes and triple-deckers in robotic "microfactories" and assembling them on site. Its own site presents it primarily as a partner for developers rather than as a homeowner-facing remodeling contractor; it was founded in October 2022 by three former Amazon Robotics employees and is led by CEO and co-founder Vikas Enti. The Boston Globe covered its robot-built house in 2024, Banker & Tradesman reported a $20 million raise in August 2025, and MIT and HUD write-ups describe finished homes in Arlington and Somerville, including an accessory dwelling unit completed with the Housing Corporation of Arlington in 2024. Trade coverage in 2025 and 2026 describes microfactory deployments as far as California wildfire rebuilds. What is missing is homeowner feedback. Google shows 5 stars from three ratings, but the single retrievable review body — from January 2024 — reads "I like this place it's very cool" and describes no job. Reddit mentions are similar: in May 2026 a Cape Cod homeowner weighing modular construction was told to "Check out ReFrame Systems", and other threads simply link the site or describe how factory modules are craned into place. Directory records disagree about what the company is: an unclaimed BuildZoom profile files it under Electricians with only Electrical Work, names a different person as owner, and prints a permit-derived BZ score rather than customer sentiment, while its claimed Procore listing types it as Architect and General Contractor with 51-100 employees across five states. If you are a homeowner rather than a developer, treat this as a manufacturer-builder: ask which of its completed local projects most resembles yours, who holds the licences on your job, and what the on-site assembly scope actually includes.
