Reframe Systems doesn't frame houses on the lot — it builds the rooms indoors and brings them to you. The Andover company describes itself as a design-build home manufacturer that acts as architect of record and general contractor, turning out high-performance homes, ADUs, townhomes and triple-deckers in robotic 'microfactories' and assembling them on site. A Reddit commenter laid out the sequence in April 2026: the modules are built in factory, delivered by truck, and craned in. The company is young. Three former Amazon Robotics employees founded it in October 2022, according to Banker & Tradesman, and its site names Vikas Enti as CEO and co-founder, with Aaron Small on operations and Felipe Polido on technology. An MIT AeroAstro piece in April 2026 reported that the first homes designed and manufactured in that first microfactory have been fully built in Arlington and Somerville; Boston 25 News in July 2026 carried the line that a house "was robotically fabricated in our micro factory in Andover, Massachusetts". Back in February 2024, the Boston Globe described the company programming an industrial robot to help build a two-story house with sustainable materials and low-energy needs, and in August 2025 Banker & Tradesman reported a $20 million raise. On Google it carries 5 stars from three ratings, and a January 2024 reviewer called the place "very cool". Word of mouth has started to circulate as well — on Reddit in May 2026, someone weighing modular construction was pointed toward Reframe. Two things to settle before calling. The company's own site presents it primarily as a partner for developers rather than a homeowner-facing remodeling contractor, and the service area it states is Devens and Andover, while its Procore listing claims California, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Its directory profiles don't line up either: an unclaimed BuildZoom page files Reframe under electricians, lists only electrical work, and names Michael Sawyer as owner. This is a shop for a new ADU, townhome or whole house built off-site, not for a kitchen or a bathroom job. Ask which finished Massachusetts project most resembles yours, and get in writing who carries the general contractor role on your build and whether your town sits inside the area they actually serve.
