Highlights
- Hardwood focus — installs, sands, refinishes, stains and repairs wood floors
- Owner on site — Scott Walker says he works the jobs himself
- Trade affiliation — the company states a National Wood Flooring Association affiliation
Restoration Hardwood Flooring works wood floors and nothing else: installing, sanding, refinishing, staining, repairing and maintaining them for homeowners, contractors and facility managers. Scott Walker owns and runs the company, and describes himself as an owner-employee who is on site for the jobs. The company says it started over six years ago, built on Walker's 25 years in the flooring trade, and that it is an affiliated company with the National Wood Flooring Association. If you want the person who quoted your floor to be the one running the sander, that is the shape of this shop. Ask to see finished floors in a house like yours, and get the scope, the finish and proof of insurance in writing before the job starts.
