RidAway sells itself as a one-stop home-services company from 10 Upton Dr in Wilmington, and its own site leads with pest control — but the customers who have written about it hired it to take something toxic out of the house. Mold in attics, asbestos-wrapped pipes, vermiculite in the walls: that is what the written history is, end to end, and the Better Business Bureau files the business under Asbestos Testing. The same names recur across five years of comments. Matheus Rabello coordinates the projects and is thanked by name over and over; Gerson and James are the people customers describe in their attics. A July 2026 customer wrote that the remediation technician was highly knowledgeable and that the coordination was outstanding from start to finish, and in January 2026 a homeowner said their mold treatment went exactly as planned and that James showed them the product being used in their home before applying it. Older accounts fill in the range of work. In a February 2023 review a new homeowner said RidAway removed vermiculite and inspected every room top to bottom. A December 2021 customer had asbestos-wrapped pipes abated and said the company gave them a good deal and went above and beyond. In September 2023 a homeowner needed attic mold cleared before Mass Save energy work and said RidAway was responsive, on time, neat, and supplied all the documentation the programme required; a January 2024 customer said the estimate came within a day, service was scheduled within the week, and contracting and billing were handled online. Two things are worth knowing. The record is uniformly five-star with no negative account on it; the closest thing is a May 2022 reviewer who described a communication error on a house with two attics, which Jake and Gerson came back the next day to put right. And the Better Business Bureau file records the business as started in 2024 with one employee, while customers were already reviewing this company in 2021 — worth asking how long the entity you are contracting with has been operating, and who will actually be on site. This is a strong call for attic mold, vermiculite or asbestos abatement, particularly alongside a Mass Save weatherization job where documentation matters.
