RIHI — The Home Improvement Specialist says on its website that it is a family-owned company headquartered in Warwick, RI since 1949, installing windows, roofing, siding, doors, kitchens and bathrooms across Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts (including Wrentham) and eastern Connecticut. The site says it is run by the Aurgemma family, currently led by brothers John and Anthony Aurgemma. On Google it averages 4.7 stars from 881 ratings, and on Thumbtack 4.5 stars from 61. A recent Google customer said Heather spent the afternoon talking them through a bathroom remodel, showing different options and styles. A recent Google customer wrote that Darren gave them an education on their new roof. A 2022 Houzz customer said their roof, siding and windows were completed. A 2020 Thumbtack customer said two new windows were installed and the work was done fast. A 2020 customer described planning a partial kitchen remodel with Michael Daudelin and Angela over Microsoft Teams, and wrote that RIHI was not the most cost effective but the quality of the work and the punctuality were worth it. A 2018 customer said a French door went into their family room and vinyl siding onto the exterior, and that they always cleaned up at the end of the day. A 2023 Reddit commenter wrote that after paying 5k for a new front door, they did not have a functioning front door for months.
