Unprofessional and they wasted our time. Our condo building needs to have patio repairs done. Romero came out, said they would do the work and provided an initial estimate within days. When asked for follow-up information about the estimate Romero kept repeating that they were interested in the job and that they would be in touch with the new estimate shortly. We checked in weekly and got the same response for over a month when they just quit responding.
General contractors on a house we purchased. The lack of attention to detail is shocking, from paint splatters to incorrectly installed windows that leak, giant gaping HOLES in the roof that were merely covered by underlay and shingles, zero insulation in the attic, and crooked light fixtures. Would not recommend.
I had gutters put on my barn in Feb 2018, over 2k worth of gutters. Within 2 days gutters were hanging off the front of the barn, water spilling over and out the ends. I called and they came out right away to look at the gutters and told me they would be back to fix -- 6 months later they no longer respond to my messages and I still have gutters hanging from the front of my building. Poor workmanship, followed by poor customer service and a total lack of concern as to the quality of their work.
Romero Home Remodeling LLC is definitely not the name anyone should trust as company proclaims. The company, with its owner Ed (Edar) Romero-Cruz and his wife business partner Michelle, were hired to install new roof. 3 weeks after new roof was installed it started to leak with the first rain. It has been leaking for 6 months now leaving numerous water marks on the ceiling. The company offered 20 year workmanship warranty. Ed was contacted about the issue right away and at first promised to come back and look at it. The roof is still has not been repaired. For 2 months now Ed has been ignoring to return my phone calls and messages. If anyone considers hiring Romero Home Remodeling, please be cautious of choosing this company.
We only had a small task that needed to be done. But Ed arrived on time - gave me a quote - and then did the job on the spot. He explained what he was going to do - and showed me after.
