"First of all he actually responded to my inquiry. No one else did." That line from a July 2023 Google review comes up in different words again and again for Russell Sprague, an electrician serving southeastern Massachusetts. His own site describes residential and commercial work — wiring, lighting, panels, fire alarm and security systems — and says estimates are free. His Massachusetts electrician licence, #14655-EL-B, is active, held by Russell L Sprague. All 16 Google reviews on file, written between 2021 and January 2026, are five stars, and Google shows 5★ across 22 ratings. The jobs are the everyday stuff of a house. In a December 2022 review, a customer who wanted a quick outlet for a new induction stove learned the panel was maxed out; Russell came out to look, laid out four options with estimates, and then added the outlet plus a new sub-panel the next business day, finishing in a few hours. A January 2023 customer had him wire three solar tube skylights with electric baffles, rewire the panel for a portable generator and swap an office light fixture. In a November 2021 review, a customer said he wired a new pool from a written quote, and their pool installer called it the neatest job they had ever seen; the same customer said he came quickly after a storm to diagnose a generator problem. Smaller jobs fill out the rest: a bathroom fan/light combo (October 2025), ceiling fans in the kids' rooms (June 2022), and a 2022 list of a garage light, a hot tub and a garbage disposal. A February 2022 review counts ceiling fans, smoke detectors, porch lights, Ring cameras and two outside outlets, and says the wait was never more than a week. Price comes up a few times. A January 2024 customer wrote "Price same as estimate provided," a March 2024 review called the rates reasonable, and a 2022 Middleboro buyer working through a home-inspection list described the quote as complete and reasonable. The most recent review, from January 2026, sums him up as knowledgeable, reliable and good at communication. His BBB page shows an A+ grade.
