Sarah Blackwell Window Treatments is based in Wellfleet, MA. Its website says Sarah Blackwell designs custom draperies, blinds, shades and original slipcovers for homeowners across Wellfleet and the Outer Cape, names Wellfleet, Provincetown, Truro and Eastham as its service area, and claims 40 years in business. On its Houzz profile, the business calls Sarah Blackwell a Hunter Douglas Master Installer. In a 2025 Google review, a customer said Sarah came onsite to measure fabric and fit the final slip cover, and that the work restored a family treasure to them. In a 2016 Houzz review, a customer described replacing vertical blinds that were not working properly on a large, 3 section picture window and adding treatments for 4 upstairs windows; Sarah brought many samples and went over the pros and cons of each type, and they settled on double honeycomb shades, with top down/bottom up shades upstairs. Another 2016 Houzz review covers window treatments for an entire house, from the living room and kitchen to two bedrooms, a bathroom and two hallway windows, and says Sarah was done installing in a very short time. A 2016 Houzz review from the owners of a west-facing house with a lot of glass says Sarah advised them in great detail on the best solution for afternoon glare and heat, and that after the installation her analysis was spot on. In a 4-star 2016 Houzz review covering window treatments for 9 windows, a customer said some roller shades arrived rolling inward instead of outward due to a miscommunication, and that Sarah corrected this at no charge.
