Save On Oil Co sells heating oil delivered to the home. On its website the company says it has been in business 41 years and offers no locked-in contracts or hidden fees, and the service area it lists runs from Providence, Cranston and Pawtucket to Rehoboth and Seekonk. A 2025 customer said the company always responded quickly, even on a Christmas Eve, and called its prices good. A 2025 customer said Kevin had serviced their boiler before and praised his work. When their heat went out, that customer said they were told "you don’t buy oil from us so we aren’t gonna help you". A 2022 customer said they called and the company never showed.
Great experience. Always respond quickly! Even on Christmas Eve a year ago. Professional, responsive and good prices.
We used them to service our boiler before and Kevin did a great job. So I called back this morning when our heat went out in the winter and was promptly told, “you don’t buy oil from us so we aren’t gonna help you”. The thing is, we don’t and have never used oil. All gas… I get it, it’s winter and you’re busy. But that’s not customer service. If you had serviced us before, and I paid for that service, am I not then a paying customer? Two stars and not one because Kevin was great.
