Scott Williams is a family-run heating oil delivery and HVAC company on Boston's South Shore, founded in 1937 and still run by the Williams family — currently company president Ken Williams, the founder's grandson. It covers a wide swath of towns from West Roxbury and Dorchester down through Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, and Cohasset. The technical work draws consistent, specific praise. One reviewer described the technician Greg doing 'an absolutely flawless job' moving baseboard heating in a basement, in a 2025 review, and another, in a 2021 review, called him 'a rock star' on a full boiler and water heater rip-out and installation. A 2024 review described Greg fixing an oil burner so it was 'running like new.' On the emergency side, one office ran out of oil and got same-day delivery, and another customer had an AC unit repaired on one of the hottest days of the year by a technician described as informative and pleasant. A 2020 post from a self-described 30-year customer said the company's oil prices were competitive and that a plumber confirmed a boiler installation was done well.
