A neighborhood deck in what one homeowner called an environmentally difficult location, finished on time and within budget — that February 2025 account is a fair sketch of what SeaBreeze Home Construction takes on. The company describes itself as owner-operated by Mitchel and Amanda, working out of Brewster and serving Orleans and the Lower Cape with roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, additions and kitchen and bath remodeling. Decks and outdoor structures run through the reviews from 2022 to 2025. Two cottage decks replaced, in an April 2024 review. A deck removed and rebuilt with two new sliders and gutters on a 40-year-old Cape, which that April 2024 customer said came with detailed estimates and timelines at a competitive price. A custom patio and extended walkway tied into an existing deck, in a March 2024 review. The bigger jobs are here too. An April 2024 customer described demolishing a garage and porch and rebuilding a garage, mudroom, porch and expanded living room. A September 2021 review listed a bathroom overhaul — tub out, ceiling replaced, heating element moved, floor and shower re-tiled, recessed lights and a new shower door. One name recurs: Amanda. A February 2023 reviewer said the team was there by 9am on a start date planned months in advance and stayed at it through to the finish. A February 2025 reviewer credited her with arranging subcontractors and ordering materials. A December 2023 customer had a bathroom that needed to be ready in time for a wedding, and wrote that they made it happen. Two one-star reviews tell a different story, and both involve kitchen work. A November 2023 customer hired them to remove and install kitchen cabinets, a sink and lighting on an agreed three-month timeline, then described a series of starts and stops, plumbers, electricians and carpenters returning repeatedly, and little to no communication between homeowners and crew. A March 2024 reviewer wrote that the company did not live up to deadlines, with cabinets strewn across the front lawn and no consideration for the lack of kitchen access for months. On HomeAdvisor those are two of 21 ratings; the profile shows 19 five-star. For a deck, a porch, an addition or a bathroom on the Lower Cape, this is a two-owner outfit whose customers keep naming the same person as the reason the job ran smoothly. For a kitchen, ask directly who holds the schedule when the plumber, electrician and carpenter each need to come back, and get the timeline and the sequence in writing before the cabinets come out.
