SeaBreeze Home Construction is a small, owner-operated outfit working the Lower Cape out of Brewster, built around decks, additions and full bathroom remodels rather than one narrow trade. Mitchel and Amanda run it together, per the company's own site, and that division shows up again and again in reviews: people specifically credit Amanda for staying on top of scheduling, subcontractors and budget, and Mitchel for the finish work. The deck and addition jobs are where the record runs deepest. One 2024 review describes a full teardown-and-rebuild — demolishing an existing garage and porch and constructing a new garage, mudroom, porch and expanded living room — carried through start to finish. Others describe more ordinary deck replacements, including two decks rebuilt on adjoining summer cottages and a deck rebuilt on a difficult, environmentally sensitive lot, in each case on schedule and close to the original estimate. A 2021 review lays out a full bathroom gut in detail — tub, tile, recessed lighting, a new vanity and shower door — handled with the same attention. The written record runs from 2020 through early 2025 across HomeAdvisor and Google, and it is overwhelmingly positive: 19 of 21 HomeAdvisor ratings and every quoted Google review are five stars, and the company also lists itself as an Angi Screened & Approved member. The two exceptions both concern one kitchen job. In a November 2023 review, a homeowner says SeaBreeze was hired to remove and install kitchen cabinets, a sink and lighting on an agreed three-month timeline that stretched to five months, with repeated stop-and-start visits from subcontractors and little communication in between. A follow-up review posted in March 2024 describes a similar breakdown on what reads like the same job — cabinets left sitting on the front lawn and no consideration for the family's lack of kitchen access for months. Nothing else in the record describes a comparable dispute. SeaBreeze reads as a strong fit for a homeowner planning a deck, addition, porch or full bathroom remodel who wants a small, hands-on crew rather than a large outfit — the detail and consistency across these reviews is real. Given the one recurring complaint, it's worth asking directly how a kitchen or cabinetry job would be scheduled and communicated before signing on.
Great job! Quality work, good communication throughout and completed as scheduled.
Seabreeze rebuilt our neighborhood deck in a environmentally difficult location. Their work was done as promised, on time and within budget. They were very easy to work with and higly skilled professionals. I would highly recommend Seabrease for any project.
Excellent! We had a very good experience with SeaBreeze Home Construction. Amanda and Mitchel are so easy to work with and genuinely nice people. Amanda is incredibly organized and efficient - especially arranging subcontractors, ordering materials, etc. Great attention to detail. Mitchel is a very meticulous craftsman and a perfectionist. The project went smoothly with just a few delays due to supply chain issues - beyond anyone's control. All in all it was a great experience and we highly recommend them!
We have been very happy with both the service and quality of work provided by SeaBreeze Home Construction. The owners, Amanda and Mitchel, are very thorough, fair and knowledgeable. After purchasing a home that needed lots of updating, we hired SeaBreeze to build a new deck which came out great. Mitchel discovered some rot in the existing house member requiring some replacement work. This was accomplished without impacting the schedule. The next project was a full bathroom renovation, which also came out great. We selected and purchased the fixtures and tile. Amanda and Mitchel did everything else, including subcontracting the electrical, plumbing and a minor amount of roofing for the vent fan. We've also had SeaBreeze replace some windows and the shingle siding around them. In all, we are very happy with SeaBreeze and have already asked them to quote some siding and flashing work around a chimney. We hope to continue doing business with them as needs arise.
Amanda and team were great to work with - very responsive. Replaced 2 decks on our summer cottages. Couple small issues were resolved immediately without haggling which is key when finding a partner to do this kind of work. Will work with them again!
