Seaman’s Carpentry & Handyman Services

Rick is the name in all three reviews of Seaman's Carpentry, and the people who wrote them tended to hire him again. One Ipswich homeowner, writing in October 2025, listed floors and thresholds, a rebuilt chimney and a custom-made window box — several projects at the same house, by someone the reviewer said could rebuild or renew just about anything. The woodworking is what people describe first. A 2023 customer had a privacy fence built to a modern design and said it drew compliments, and noted that the site was cleaned up at the end of every day. Another, writing at the end of 2023, had an in-law suite built and two bathrooms tiled, and was planning to come back for a third bathroom and a pantry. The written history is short: three Google reviews, dated 2023 to 2025, all from homeowners describing work at their own houses. For carpentry, repairs and built-to-fit pieces you cannot buy off a shelf, Seaman's is a sensible call around Ipswich. For something at the in-law-suite scale, ask for references from recent projects that size, and get the scope and the price in writing before work starts.
