One wrinkle in the paperwork: the company's own site and its BBB file both say 40 years in business, while the Houzz profile claims 32 years of experience. Worth asking about when you talk to him.
For a floor that has to be sanded and finished properly — or an old pine or oak floor you would rather restore than tear out — this is a specialist with the trade certifications behind the work. Expect a quote above the lowest bid, and walk the floor with him before the sanding starts so the stain and finish are settled in advance.
