Serenity Painting's website lists lead paint abatement, residential and commercial painting, window and door installation, flooring installation, light carpentry and drywall services, and says the business has been at it for 17 years. A recent customer who had bought an 1800s home says they reached out to Serenity Painting for lead paint removal on painted floors and stair treads, and describes seeing the original floors and stair treads restored. That customer says Serenity also helped turn a sunroom long used as a workshop into a bright, welcoming room, and sanded and finished new wide-pine floors the owners had installed. When the owners ran short of time before a large neighborhood gathering, the same customer says Serenity quickly assembled a team and painted walls, ceilings and trim in several rooms. Another recent review says Wendell and his team brought the reviewer's 1767 colonial back to life. In a 2025 review, a customer said Serenity Painting & Renovations did lead abatement on their home, restoration on their staircase and built a new porch, and that Wendell was extremely responsive. In a separate 2025 review, a customer said Serenity did the exterior paint job on their Victorian house and handled its intricate, multi-color detailing. That 2025 customer said the crew applied many layers, including for lead encapsulation, and was meticulous about cleaning up the site at the end of each day. In another 2025 review, a customer said Wendell and his crew had painted their home a couple years earlier and they had some peeling. That 2025 customer said Wendell was there the same day after a phone call, and within days his crew came to the rescue and "made it right."

We initially reached out to Serenity Painting because we needed a partner with expertise in lead paint removal. We had painted floors and stair treads in an 1800s home we had recently purchased, and we wanted experienced professionals who could safely remove the paint, restore the original wood, and bring those historic features back to life. Serenity did a phenomenal job. The transformation was remarkable and gave us a clear view of the home's true potential. Seeing the original floors and stair treads restored was incredibly exciting and helped us appreciate just how beautiful the house could become. We also had a sunroom that had long been used as a workshop by previous owners. It had great bones, but years of utility use had hidden much of its charm. Serenity helped us bring that space back to life, transforming it from a work area into a bright, welcoming room that once again felt like an integral part of the home. We also worked with Serenity to sand and finish new wide-pine floors that we installed throughout other parts of the house. In addition, they assisted with several interior painting projects. I do a fair amount of painting myself, but when it became clear that I wasn't going to have enough time to complete everything before a large neighborhood gathering, I called Serenity. They quickly assembled a team and helped us prepare the house by painting walls, ceilings, and trim in several rooms. Their work took a tremendous amount of stress off my plate, and the results were beautiful. The event was a success, our guests loved the house, and Serenity played a significant role in helping us get everything ready on time. We look forward to continuing to work with Serenity Painting on future renovation projects, both for our rental properties and for our own home. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and reliability have made them a valued partner, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality painting and restoration work.
Wendell & his team brought our 1767 colonial back to life! Lots of hard work and great to work with. Thank you!
Serenity Painting & Renovations did lead abatement on our home, as well as restoration on our staircase and building a new porch. They did an excellent job, worked quickly, and Wendell was extremely responsive. I would absolutely call again if we needed more painting and renovations done!
I am absolutely thrilled with the exterior paint job that Serenity Painting did on my Victorian house. From the very beginning, they were a pleasure to work with. They were completely amenable to my requests for specific paints and skillfully handled the intricate, multi-color detailing that a Victorian home requires. What truly set them apart was their thoroughness and expertise. They applied many layers, including for crucial lead encapsulation, which has brought us significantly closer to getting our property lead safe certified. This was not a simple job, but they handled it with total professionalism. The crew was fantastic—a large, friendly, and respectful team who worked incredibly hard. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to start the job, and their work ethic was evident every day. They were meticulous about cleaning up the site at the end of each day, which we greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend Wendell and Serenity painting highly enough, especially for complex heritage projects, lead encapsulation, or dealing with deteriorated paint.
A couple years ago we had Wendell and his crew paint our home. Unfortunately, we had some peeling. A phone call to Wendell and he was there the same day to take a look. Within days, his crew came to the rescue and "made it right". We highly recommend Serenity Painting & Renovations. They stand by their work.
