Shahood & Sons, Inc.

Shahood & Sons has been a Framingham family plumbing business since 1949, by its own account and the BBB's, and its customers write about the office's communication and courteous technicians. A December 2020 Hopkinton Independent article said Thomas Shahood founded it, his son Mark ran it for 30 years, and Mark S. Shahood Jr. took over the two-person business in 2011 and grew it to 10 people. The site describes plumbing, heating and air conditioning for residential, commercial and industrial customers, including repairs, installations, water heaters and preventive maintenance. Mark Shahood's Massachusetts plumber license (9190-PL-M) is active on the state registry. The BBB rates the company A+, though it is not BBB accredited. All eight of its HomeAdvisor ratings are five stars. In a February 2025 review, new homeowners who had toilets, faucets and a utility sink put in said the plumbers also looked at their water heater and a slow-leaking pipe and gave an honest opinion without trying to upsell. Another February 2025 customer said two technicians fixed a poorly flushing toilet and very low water pressure the same day and explained the fix. In a January 2025 review, a customer whose kitchen faucet failed before a three-day weekend said the office called back Monday morning and a plumber came the next day; that customer's one negative was that the replacement was pricey. In February 2020, two commenters on r/FraminghamMA recommended Shahood & Sons for plumbing, heating and cooling.
