A flooded clubhouse basement that needed extensive replacement work from the floors to the walls: that is the first of two major projects Cranberry Village describes in a September 2026 Google review of Smart Painting, a Framingham painting company. Rafael and his team handled that restoration, and Cranberry Village then hired them for a complete office makeover in which they removed 40-year-old wallpaper, took up badly worn, glued-down carpeting, and repaired and refreshed the space. On Google the company holds 4.8 stars from 16 ratings.
In a September 2026 review, a customer who has worked with Rafael and team many times over the last few years wrote that he painted the outside of their house and two neighbors' houses across the street, painted a house their kids inherited inside and out, and did a number of repairs so it could be sold. The same customer had a complete bathroom redo from him this year and a kitchen redo recently, and wrote that he came up with a good design and flow for the kitchen and has fair prices.
In an August 2026 review, a customer wrote that Raphael and his crew painted their kitchen and cabinets: each cabinet door was removed and taken to his shop, and they repaired all the chips and sanded them carefully. Raphael also helped that customer select the colors. In a separate August 2026 review, a customer wrote that the hard working, friendly workers did both painting and wood repair.
In March 2024, a general contractor wrote that they had hired Rafael to paint six condominium houses, each with two floors and three bedrooms, and that he completed the job on time. A March 2024 review described Rafael and his team redoing the front and back stairwells of a 3-story condo building, including demo, sheet rock installation, painting, and sanding and redoing the wood floors, where the old plaster had been crumbling.
In a 2022 review, a customer wrote that Smart Painting quoted a fair price, started earlier than the start date it gave, and said the job, painting the entire house interior, would take a week; it finished in 2.5 days, which included moving furniture. A separate 2022 review said the crew arrived every morning, including Sunday and holiday, sometimes worked until 9:00 pm, covered all floors and furniture carefully, and vacuumed the floors when they were done.
On HomeAdvisor its 6 ratings are all 5 stars. In a 2021 review there, a customer wrote that Rafael was always prompt and fair in his pricing.
