A failed heating system on a cold holiday weekend brought Glen Smith out immediately, according to a March 2026 Google review. The customer said their mother’s heating system died on the Friday of Presidents’ Day weekend. Glen diagnosed the problem, gave a quote they considered fair and replaced the system the next day. Smith’s Heating Services describes itself as a one-owner company based in Eastham, maintaining, repairing and replacing oil- and propane-fired heating equipment for residential and commercial customers on Cape Cod. The company identifies Glen Smith as its owner and describes him as a licensed oil burner technician and propane gas fitter. Its stated service area includes Provincetown and Dennis. Routine work brings customers back as well. An April 2026 reviewer said Glen handles their yearly oil-tank maintenance and arrives on time. In January 2026, another customer described more than ten years of maintenance and repairs and praised a recent smart-thermostat installation. A separate January reviewer said Glenn had maintained their heating system for years and responded quickly when a problem arose. Google showed a 5-star average from 34 ratings in August 2026. Two January 2026 reviews describe different holiday calls. One customer said a worker arrived within 15 minutes of their New Year’s Eve call, diagnosed the heating issue and resolved it quickly. Another said they called on New Year’s Day, Glen returned the call that day, arrived the following day and fixed the furnace. In a February 2026 account, a customer said Glen had installed a furnace and heat pumps and had most recently helped with frozen pipes. Equipment replacement also appears in older accounts. A December 2025 customer described Glenn installing a new oil tank. In July 2024, a customer discussing a gas hot-water-heater replacement said Glen’s estimate was reasonable after comparing it with two others and praised his communication. Customers have described work in Cape Cod homes over several years. A February 2025 reviewer in Wellfleet said Glenn answered promptly when their burner made unusual sounds, serviced it and resolved the problem. A September 2023 customer said Glen fixed a broken furnace at their Eastham home the same day. In September 2021, another customer described Glen doing a thorough mini-split cleaning, while a separate reviewer said he came on short notice for an emergency furnace cleaning.
