Smith Tile, Flooring, and Renovations

Sam is the tile setter behind Smith Tile, Flooring, and Renovations, a Barre, Massachusetts flooring and tile business; an August 2025 Angi review calls him "Sam, the owner." Its site describes residential and commercial remodeling, flooring and tile work in Central Massachusetts, and lists Worcester, Ware and Gardner as its service area. Showers and bathrooms carry the longest accounts. In a February 2026 Google review, a customer says Sam tore out an outdated shower, rebuilt it, tiled the floor and walls, installed glass doors, found and corrected a drainage problem that had caused a leak under the old tiles, and came back a week later to check on it. Another February 2026 reviewer with an old home says Sam did all the tile work on a bathroom remodel, making slanted shower walls, floor and ceiling "true," and ordered the materials and brought them to the house. Kitchens come up too. February 2026 reviews describe a gourmet kitchen tiled in high end porcelain, a kitchen backsplash, and a kitchen floor and backsplash that other contractors asked about afterward. A December 2025 customer says Sam was one of five tradesmen asked to estimate kitchen tile work, and that he sent samples by phone, photos and texting. In an August 2025 Angi review, Sam installed vinyl flooring throughout a basement at pricing the customer called fair and in line with other quotes. The newest review, from August 2026, says he converted a piece of antique furniture to a vanity. Google shows 5★ from 15 ratings, and Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0★ from 5 ratings. A February 2026 reviewer thought he was expensive and still called him an artist.
