RUN from this company. Matt is horrible to deal with. They sent me a proposal for the job. I asked him if price is flexible, he resent the proposal. We then walked the job twice. He met with my excavator. Everything was understood. He did the first part. First part of the job was poured OK. It is crumbling in spots, I showed this to them. Joe even admitted it was done wrong, Matt came to look and said it was done wrong. They said they would fix it. They never did to date. When it came for the second part of the job, Joe is showing up saying no problem to everything, they'll do everything as discussed on proposal. This is where it gets fun. Matt starts texting me craziness that the job is underbid and thye have to charge more, accusing me of thinking he's an idiot. Screenshot of the texts is attached. To end it, they dumped the job on me and won't finish after giving me a proposal for services delaying my project. I am giving this to my attorney as they did not honor what they proposed and what I signed. The craziness, the scheduling, and even shoddy work is not worth it. I wish I saw these reviews earlier.

Matt and Joe were absolutely amazing with putting Concrete around our pool and creating a large pad and two sidewalks for us in our pool area. They were friendly, thoughtful And it went above and beyond what we expected. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have concrete work done!

DO NOT RECOMMEND- had a garage foundation/floor and separate patio put in by this company. Within three months both the patio and the garage floor had cracked from one side to the other because they didn’t put in the expansion cuts properly according to code. In addition it’s discolored and the finishing on the concrete floor in the garage isn’t even the same throughout (about a quarter of it still super rough) plus a whole list of other things that are wrong. Got the run around from Matt for months trying to get it fixed (which never happened). Found out after the fact unfortunately that this company is well known in the industry for their poor quality of work.

We contracted for a walkway front steps. Stamped concrete. Horrible work crumbling and cracking. Steps and walkway are two completely different colors, completely. Matt takes no responsibility. Took Matthew Thouin to court and won! That was 7 months ago..,, he’s not paid me yet. Also please note that one of his positive reviews is the same last name as his business partner at pioneer valley construction. I wonder if there is a connection? Matthew Thouin had our negative comments deleted from his Facebook reviews.... should you trust this man with your home?

Matt and his crew were great to work with. They followed through on everything they promised and the results were fantastic.. Thanks for a job well done. Sam, Jason and Kyle were such a pleasure to have at my home.. I could not be happier. Way to go Spartan. I would definitely recommend Matt’s professional prompt Team to anyone looking for this type of project.. once again.. David and I are extremely satisfied!
