Speedy Moving Company

Speedy Moving customers describe crews that work quickly while taking care of furniture. One July 2026 reviewer said Erick and the team packed loose items into boxes, wrapped furniture in moving blankets, and disassembled and reassembled pieces as needed, with nothing damaged. Another customer described careful wrapping with mattress covers, plastic wrap and moving blankets in an August review. The company calls itself a family-owned, locally operated Boston mover since 2015, founded with two trucks and three friends. Its stated service area includes Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Newton, Allston and Brighton. It offers residential and commercial moves, local and long-distance transport, packing, office relocations, assembly, storage and junk removal. The website describes its pricing as transparent and hourly. Google reports a five-star average from 100 ratings, while Thumbtack reports 4.8 stars from 48 ratings. The Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade. Recent customers praise punctuality and communication: an August reviewer said two movers arrived on time and worked quickly, and another described quick work with clear communication and care for their belongings. A July reviewer described a move out of a fifth-floor walk-up into the customer's own van on the street. Some customers also describe paying less than expected. One August reviewer said a last-minute booking cost half the quoted price; a July reviewer said the crew beat its estimate, saving time and money. These are individual customers' accounts. In a November 2025 review, a customer described Eric and Chris accommodating a last-minute request to deliver a bedroom set to a nearby family member, alongside wrapping and packing their belongings.
